Rafineria Nafty Jedlicze S.A. in Jedlicze is one of the oldest oil refineries on the territory of Poland. Polski Koncern Naftowy ORLEN S.A. is our majority shareholder with its 75% of the shares.

The Company operates in:

• used oil regeneration into prime quality basestocks (base oils),
• production and sales of low-sulphur heating oil,
• production and sales of organic solvents meeting the highest world quality standards.

Since 1963 the Company has been specializing in used (waste) oil, treatment on an industrial scale using a regeneration process which gives base-stocks. Since 2001 the regeneration process has been run on the hydrofinishing plant, one of most state-of-the-art plants in Europe, meeting the highest European Union’s environment protection and conservation requirements. The plant produces base stocks (base oils) of quality specifications required for Group I⁺, and also heating oils of the sulphur content below 0.01 %.

The Company is a renowned and valued manufacturer of heavy heating oil which complies with the strict law requirements regarding the content levels of sulphur and nitrogen. In 2006 the Company also started – in cooperation of PKN ORLEN S.A. – the production of a light heating oil “Ecoterm Plus”.

In the second half of 2007 the Company started the production of organic eco-friendly solvents, free of sulphur and of very little content of aromatic hydrocarbons, meeting the highest world quality standards. The solvents are unique in the Polish oil industry product portfolio and hence the Company obtained co-funding of the erection of the solvent production plant from the EU structural funds in the form of a donation from the National Fund for The Environment Conservation and Water Management.

Now, the Company is in the course of consistent implementation of “Development Strategy until 2017” approved by the Supervisory Board in June 2007.
